General Info:

The setting is nestled at the base of Mt. Antero and Mt. Princeton along the Chalk River at a beautiful hot springs resort. Besides soaking in the healing waters the stay will include Meditation, Yoga and Sound Healing Sessions guided by Jason and Chris Anne.   The focus of the yoga sessions are on slowing down, creating a more trusting and intimate relationship with the self, connecting to your breath and therefore the life force that supports, inspires and fills.  Attendees will be guided through  slow flow Hatha yoga and Kundalini kriyas. Each session will end with a Sound Healing Shavasana. In addition, Chris Anne and Jason will lead the group through a few guided meditations.

About Your Teachers:

Jason and Chris Anne are both long time Yogis and Sound Healers. The Tibetan Singing Bowls and Hang are a unique piece of their offering as a way to deepen the stillness, dissolve stagnant energy, quiet the busy mind and create more bliss.

Chris Anne has been practicing and studying yoga for over 20 years. She has been teaching Kundalini Yoga, as taught by Yogi Bhajan, for 10 years now. Chris Anne; owner of  The Healing Space Wellness Center,  has been a licenced massage Therapist since 2004 and is also a trained Reiki Master. With specialized training in adaptive yoga and teaching to mixed level classes, she has the expertise to adapt and create a safe practive for every skill level.  She believes that the practice of Kundalini Yoga has been an integral part of her healing and awakening and is passionate about sharing this technology with others. "The balance of physical, mental, and spiritual practice that Kundalini offers has always felt like home to me, from the very first time I tried Kundalini Yoga I just Knew:

"This is what I've been looking for!!!" "

Her hope is that her students have insightful experiences in mind and body that open them  to their greatest inner teacher and develop the courage  to follow that wisdom.

Jason is trained in Hatha Yoga and believes in working with a slow flow, Yin style that is accessible to all levels.  The purpose of this yoga is to allow the practitioner to sit with the self, breath life force into the body and gently move beyond resistance.

Jason has been on an awakening journey for the past 20 years studying and practicing the art of yoga and meditation.  His approach and philosophy to teaching is; “I believe in creating a space that invites and allows one the opportunity to slow down, create a more trusting relationship with the self and connect to the breath/Life force - that it may support and fill us with consciousness as we may move beyond our resistance with equanimity and into a state of being more fully alive, awake, and aware.   This practice can then be utilized into our daily lives, so that when we encounter resistance, pain, or any sort of challenging situation, we now have a practice and tools that help us slow down, be supported by breath/ life force and intelligence and act from the place of highest consciousness possible.”
